
Irving Aday O’Connor: Pianist, Composer, and Music Producer
Irving Aday studied elementary-level music at the Manuel Saumell school in Havana, Cuba. He then continued his intermediate studies at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in Havana, Cuba, and shortly after, he enrolled at ISA (Instituto Superior de Arte) to complete his piano education.
In 2009, he participated in the international jazz competition "Jojazz" in Havana, Cuba, where he won first prize in the composition category. The following year, in 2010, he competed in the ensemble category of the same contest and again secured first prize.
Irving Aday has been a pianist for numerous projects in Cuba and the USA, working with renowned artists such as Dr. Ed Calle and Mamblue, Aymee Nuviola, Leslie Cartaya, Tony Succar, Braulio, Tania Pantoja, Concha Buika, Descemer Bueno, Pavel Urkiza, and many others.
